Hospital Visit
So I know some of you may have heard through the grapevine that I was in the hospital. I will give you the short version of what happened. I got really really sick on April 27 (I thought I just had a throw up virus). However, I could not stop throwing up on Sunday, so on Monday Rob took me to the doctor. I got an IV in the office and I was having SEVERE stomach pain. Like so bad I could not lift my legs. But, the doctor told me to go home and if it hurt to call the next day. So I did and I went and got tests done. They found a 4 inch mass on my ovary. So I had to go to the hospital for emergency surgery. They took out my ovary and fallopian tube. I had a really bad infection which is still a mystery of how I got it. So I was in the hospital for 7 days because I kept throwing up and had a fever. I didn't eat for almost 10 days! Rob was great at taking care of me. He has become a nurse pro. This has been my second surgery since we have been married and my third surgery in four years. So, hopefully three times is the charm and no more surgery! My mom came out to help nurse me back to good health. I really appreciate her coming.She is the best mom nurse! Also,I want to say thanks to all my friends and niece and sister in law who came to visit me in the hospital and who stayed with me while Rob was not there. You guys are awesome and I really appreciate you guys! Anyways, I am ok ... just recopping. I am going crazy because I am still nauseated all the time and super weak and I can't workout or teach my classes! So I can't wait till mid June till I can do normal things again! But, thats what happened and thats what we have been up to. Here are two horrible picutres of me... i can't believe I am posting them but blogs are no fun without pictures right! The bright side of things.. Utah is getting warm weather!

I didn't know that! I didn't know that that was why your mom was with you at sundance! Well you looked good when I ran into you so it looks like you're doing better! Well keep healing little one.

I am glad you are feeling better liz! I was worried about you but Jenna was giving me the updates...after 10 days of not eating I am pretty sure you will be ok to not work out for a few weeks:) by the way i had the same thing my sophomore year of college except that mine ruptured so there was nothing to remove anymore..but it was the WORST pain ever...sorry you had it too!

Wow, Rob hadn't told me what was wrong!! I am so glad you are doing better. I love the pictures. I'm glad you posted them. You still look so cute even though you were so miserable.
