Sunflower Farmers Market

So last Thursday, I discovered the Sunflower Farmers Market. It kind of reminds me of Good Earth a bit except for pretty much the entire store is produce. They have amazing prices and they give you the recyable grocery bags. Each time you bring them back to put your groceries in, you will get a little discount on your next purchase. Their prices on food (milk, other food items) are not great however, its worth going to get your produce and maybe your meat there. (I got chicken on sale for $1.57 a pound the other day). For example: nectarines are .77 cents a pound and yellow, orange and red peppers are 88 cents. So Today I went back and I got a canteloupe, yellow pepper, cherry tomatoes, grapes, tangeloes, pluots, nectarines, purple onion, and this really yummy and super healthy marble rye bread. All for $11.00! I am telling the prices are so cheap and their produce is so fresh and ripe. Its a dream. Moral of the story is save money, be green and go to the sunflower farmers market.

Here is the link if you want to check it out... they also have great resources on there as well (health articles, recipes, sickness remedies, etc.).

I think I will try it. Thanks for sharing! We have a Farmer's market in Spanish Fork, but it is super small and only open a few hours on Saturday mornings.
